午年の今年を記念して、本金で染めた馬の絵柄の陣羽織を作りました。
To commemorate this Year of the Horse, we have crafted a jinbaori featuring a horse design painted with genuine gold.

絹の布に、本金を泥のようにして筆で職人技で描いたものです。
The silk fabric is adorned with a design skillfully painted by artisans using genuine gold applied like mud with a brush.

飛躍する馬と日本の格式高い松の絵柄です。
It depicts a leaping horse and the noble Japanese pine tree.

美しい本金泥の色合いが落ち着いた気品を高めます。
The beautiful hue of the genuine gold mud enhances its serene elegance.

リバーシブルでユニセックスです。
Reversible and unisex.

裏には、子供の成長を祝う日本の伝統で使う柏の葉を染めています。
The reverse side features dyed kashiwa leaves, traditionally used in Japan to celebrate a child’s growth.

仕立ては、日本古来の縫製方法である和裁で仕立てました。
The garment was crafted using traditional Japanese sewing techniques known as wasai.

布目に穴を開けない運針なので、布目が美しく整っています。
This stitching method avoids piercing the fabric grain, resulting in beautifully aligned threads.

羽織ると別の衣のようです。
When worn, it transforms into a different garment.

両面を楽しく着分けていただけます。
Enjoy wearing both sides in distinct ways.

陣羽織は、武士が戦いに行く時に羽織った衣です。
The jinbaori is a garment worn by samurai when heading into battle.

いざという時の衣としても、
It can be worn both as attire for critical moments and as a casual garment.
